My Story

It is a beautiful day to say hello to you and I trust in our Lord blessing you! We do not attend any church for now, and we appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us to congregate at a church soon. We are fine, but I want to ask for your prayers for my parents; they have health issues and cannot visit a doctor due to the low resources. My father is diabetic, and my mother has problems with her blood pressure. My mother is Dorcas Prisila Vielman Orenos, and she is 41 years old. Most of the time she stays busy with the household work. My father is Marvin Fermin Saravia Vasquez, and he is 47 years old. He makes a living by working as a carpenter; he sustains the family.

I am Julia Sofia Saravia Vielman, and I am 11 years old. I am a fifth-grade student; I like to attend school because it is easy to comprehend the lessons with my teacher´s help. It is hard for my parents to cover all the school supplies because of a lack of resources; however, they struggle every day to give us the best. My dream is to study and become a fashion designer, it is very interesting for me. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. The sport I like the most is basketball. I like sodas, especially Coca-Cola which is my favorite one. I get excited when my birthday comes because my parents buy me a cake and prepare “estofado” (a typical dish) to share lunch together; it makes me so happy. I love Christmas because we have different types of food, and I receive a gift in the feeding program which makes me so happy. My family and I have gone through very hard difficulties, and we thank God because we have received support through Living Water; I am so blessed. We are a humble and needy family; the top priorities are groceries and a good job for my father so that he can have resources to supply our needs.
