My Story

Hello! My name is Marvin Danilo Morente De La Cruz. I wish you and your family many blessings and good health. I turned 19 years old this year. I am no longer in school, so I stay home and help my mother with the housework and chores. At home, we grow corn and raise chickens and cows for our own consumption. My mom’s name is Maria de la Cruz Gomez, and she is a housewife. She is still suffering severe head and stomach pain and pain in her feet. She is taking medicine to get better, and we are praying that she will be well soon. My father is Pedro Morente Riz. He works as a farmer, and he works hard to support our family. I also want to tell you that I along with my younger brother, Bayron, struggle to hear and cannot speak very well. I also have an older brother who works in the capital city. We ask you to pray for his health and safety as he is living and working so far away.

As a family we have attended the Catholic Church for many years. We are also very grateful for Living Water Ministries and all they do to help and support us. The meals they provide each week are a huge blessing to us. My favorite food to eat at the program is the fried chicken. I want to let you know that my sister, Francisca is the one who shared this information with the LW evangelism teacher. I say goodbye now, but first, I want to thank you for taking the time to read about me. God bless you abundantly in every area of your life.
