My Story

Hello! I greet you cordially and wishing many blessings in your daily life. I want to share a little about my family and me in this opportunity. My mother`s name is Marta Garcia Luis.  She is 37 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home and raising hens, pigs, sheep, and cows for sale and gets some income. My father`s name is Macario Garcia Toj.  He is 39 years old.  As you know, my father is living and working in the United States. At the moment, he works on a cattle farm in order to support us financially and we have communication with him. We grow corn and black beans for our family`s consumption. As a humble family, our current needs are corn. At the moment, we continue attending the Catholic Church every Monday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to my mother during the visit. She is sure of her salvation in Jesus.  By the grace of God, my family and I are in good health.

I am Jessica Veronica Garcia Garcia. I am 13 years old.  I am in 6^th grade this year at school and I am receiving face-to-face classes. I like this study method because I learn easier the topics. Thank God my parents cover my school fees. My dream is to travel to the United States and look for a job to be able to help my family economically. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, and so I would like to learn Spanish in order to have good communication with others. My favorite season of the year is Christmas because our custom is to eat “tamales” (a typical dish). I like to drink strawberry smoothies. What I like for my birthday is to have a delicious cake and a special food for lunch with my family. Among sports, I like to play soccer. My family is grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that you sent to me at the end of the year through LW.  Thankfully, my whole family is doing fine. I send you many blessings!
