My Story

Hello, my name is Jessica Veronica Garcia Garcia. I am 14 years old, and I am no longer attending school. I stay home with my mother to help her with the housework. In my free time I like to listen to music and watch TV. I enjoy attending the feeding program each week. My favorite food to eat there is the fried chicken. I also love when we celebrate Christmas because we receive a beautiful Christmas gift. Everything Living Water does for us is a huge blessing, especially the food each week and the free medicine when we need it. Thank God my family is well. My father’s name is Macario Garcia. He is currently living and working in the United States. Fortunately, he sends us money that supports our family economically. My mom is Marta Garcia.

 She stays home to do the housework and chores. She also raises animals such as chickens, sheep, and cows, and she sells them when we need a little extra money. As a family we grow corn for our own consumption. We live with my grandparents, Santos and Raymunda, and they split living expenses with my family. We regularly attend a catholic church in our area, and my mother serves on the board of directors. I pray you are well, and I hope you will pray for the health and wellbeing of my family.
