Hello! I greet you with this letter hoping you are doing fine. It is a pleasure for me to share with you a little about my family and me. This is Rufina Ester Esperanza Ruiz Gomez and I am 18 years old. As you know, I am not in school. I continue helping my mother with chores at home. My native language is Quiche Mayan, so I would like to learn Spanish and improve my communication with the people in the village. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because my mother prepares “tamales” (a typical dish). I like to drink coffee. In the future, I would like to weave typical blouses. What I enjoy playing is soccer. For my birthday I like to spend a happy day with my family. Currently, we continue attending Assembly of God Church every Tuesday. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who encouraged us to continue seeking God. So, we are sure of our salvation. Thank God all my family and I are in good health.
My mother`s name is Luciana Gomez Calachij and she is 35 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home. In addition, she raises hens to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Cirilo Ruiz Gutierrez and he is 40 years old. He left to go to the United States 1 year ago. Nowadays, he lives and works there. Fortunately, we get in communication with him, and he sends us money to support with home expenses. We are a humble family, so our current needs are corn and groceries. We are grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at year`s end. May God bless you everywhere you are!
