My Story

It is a pleasure to say hello again. My name is Leidy Noemi and I am happy to share my update with you. I am 17 years old and I am in 9th grade at school but due to the pandemic I have face-to-face classes one or two days a week. Sometimes I have classes online, but it depends on the infections in my village. I deliver my homework personally when I attend school and sometimes by WhatsApp. This new method is expensive for my parents because of the internet. Thank God, we are all healthy and no one has been sick with coronavirus. My father has recently come from The United States, and for that reason, he is not working now. He is using our savings to support us. My mother takes care of us and the house and also improves the incomes by raising chickens for selling. The pandemic affected my family economy, and we survived with a loan and with the help of Living Water. Currently, my parents are paying the debt. We have experienced God´s faithfulness in our health. We also thank Living Water for helping us with the groceries because they help us to cover our needs. May God bless them and you for giving us this special gift! As a family, we are still members of the Prince of Peace Church and attend services every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Finally, I want you to know that my mother gave this information to the LW team by telephone because the feeding program is closed due to the virus. Thank you for your attention and for blessing my life in a special way.

Kind rewards,

Leidy Noemi Ajqui Gomez
