My Story

Hello, I wanted to send you a quick message to let you know how everything is going for me. This is Pablo Ivan Jefte de la Cruz Yat. I am a healthy 8-year-old boy. I am repeating first grade because sadly, last year I did not pass my grade. I have had the privilege of attending the feeding program for four years and I like to sing in the special activities. When I come back from school, I help my mother to sweep. I like the cold weather, and I take the opportunity to wear my favorite sweater. I would like to play an instrument so I can be part of the worship team.

Thankfully, my family is in good health. My father makes a living working both as a day laborer and as a farmer. My mother stays at home doing the chores and she earns extra money raising and selling hens. My mother remembers when she was part of the feeding program. It was a blessing because she enjoyed spending time in the youth group learning about God. Therefore, she wanted us to have this experience. She also had the opportunity to work as a tortillera for a time in Living Water. My parents are grateful for the support that our family has received. My family attends a Methodist Church Ebenezer. God has been good to our family, and every day we witness His mercy. My mother would like to ask for your prayers for God to take care of her children. I say goodbye to you for now. Until next time!
