My Story

Hello, I am pleased to greet you again today. I am your sponsored child, Darlyn Roxana Rodriguez de la Cruz, bringing you some updated information about myself. I am 14 years old now. I am no longer studying in school. I completed the 5^th grade last year, and I decided I did not want to continue studying. I stay home now and help with the housework and chores. In my free time on the weekends, I like to watch TV programs. Thank God, my family is doing well. My father’s name is Vicente Rodriguez Riz. He is a construction worker, and he works hard to cover all the costs and expenses for my family. My mother’s name is Teresa de la Cruz de la Cruz. She is a housewife, and she also raises and sells chickens to make some extra money when we need it. At home, we grow corn and beans for our own use as a family. Unfortunately, we do not attend a church.

We are very grateful for the work of Living Water. They have blessed us greatly through the free meals they provide. I especially love the fried chicken. I also love the Christmas celebration we do at the end of the year. My favorite part is when we receive our gift, and the special lunch we eat. I thank you for taking the time to read about me today.
