Hello! My name is Redion Torra. I am a 13 years old boy and my birthday is on April 16th. I am doing well and enjoy good health. I attend the 8th grade at school and am doing well with the lessons. My favorite subject that I like to study the most at school is Math. My future dream is to be a Police. My home is far from school and I need to do quite a long distance walk to reach there. For this reason, I always find friends who attend the same school from my area so that I can do this long walk altogether with them. After school, I get together to play for a short while outside, but we can’t stay for too long because it is snowing and at present the roads are icy and slippery. My father and mother are divorced and my mother at present has emigrated in Greece. When she comes in Albania, she takes me to be with her for a while. My father and I live in Rodokal and we in our home have three rooms. My father’s name is Lulezim and my mother’s name is Hasije. We are in the season of winter and at present it is cold. We use a cooking stove in our home so that my father can cook and we can both stay warm in the same time. My father is working in the land we have here in the village and during the past months he has planted vegetables. We face poverty and at times my father emigrates and works for a while in Greece in order to provide for us. He is hired there at times in agriculture and at other times in construction. I stay with my uncles and they care with me when my father emigrates. I am very thankful to the Adopt a Child church in Rodokal for helping us. I have monthly received a package containing groceries from Adopt a Child and am thankful to those who provide it for me. Because of the pandemic I can’t attend the Bible classes. We keep masks and respect the distancing. I can’t wait to frequent the Bible classes and the other activities of the church. Only the children above 13 are allowed at present. Thank you for your care and support to me. God bless you!
