My Story

Hello! It is my pleasure to greet you through this and I hope you keep well! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Methodist Church, and we go on Monday and Friday. This time LW staff gave us encouraging words to continue seeking God and trust our salvation in Him. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord. My father is Pedro Canil Guarcas, and he is 44 years old. He works as a farmer and day laborer to supply the family needs. My mother is Juana Garcia, and she is 44 years old. She stays busy with the duties at home, and she also raises hens, pigs, and a cow to sell when they are big. Moreover, she weaves typical items to sell and get some extra income. My father grows corn for our consumption.

I am Sandra Melisa Canil Garcia, and I am a 15-year-old girl. I no longer attend school, for now, I stay at home, and I help with the chores. I am also learning how to embroider napkins. I would like to be a merchant and have my own business. Let me tell you, the language that catches my attention is English, so I want to learn it. The sport I like the most is football. My favorite drink is banana smoothie which is delicious. I like Christmas time because people light colorful firecrackers; the show all around is cool. Recently, I turned 15 years old, and my wish was to have a special lunch alongside my loved ones. Being part of Living Water is a great blessing for me because we feel supported by the program, and it is good to feel it; my family and I appreciate it so much. My family needs groceries, and corn.
