My Story

Hello, my name is Santos Armando Mendez Vasquez. I am 13 years old, and I am in fifth grade this year. I go to school in the morning and after that, I like to go feed the cows. I love going to the feeding program every week. They have blessed me and my family greatly through the free meal each week. I love to eat everything they serve at the program. I also love the Christmas celebration because we do many fun activities. Thank God, my family and I are doing well. My father’s name is Francisco Mendez Riz.

He is a day laborer and farmer. My mother’s name is Natalia Vasquez Cardona. She sells chocolate covered fruits in the school and she has a small convenience store in our house. Together they support our family economically. We also grow corn and raises chickens for our own use and consumption. Unfortunately, we do not currently attend a church, but we ask you to pray for the health and wellbeing of our family. My mother is the one who shared this information with the Living Water teacher who visited us. I wish you many blessings and good health.
