It is a joy for me to say hello to you through this. I am Nailyn Dulce Alexandra Hernandez Piedramartel, and I hope you are doing well. I am ten years old. This year I am in third grade. I attend school two days per week, and in those days, I hand in my schoolwork to the teacher. I do not use study guides to work at home. It is not the same teaching through online classes, and they do not explain well either. I missed the Bible teachings and delicious food from the feeding program. I get there in ten minutes by walking. Let me tell you that my father abandoned us. My mother works putting on false nails to support my family economically. To spend time together, we go to the park or we go for a walk to the central part in the city. We celebrated Christmas as a family with tamales (Guatemalan typifal food) and fruit punch.
We rent a small and humble house. We use one room in which we also cook our meals. We live with We rent a small and humble house of one room. We live with other neighbors, but our kitchen is separated, and we do not share the household expenses with them. The walls are made of cement block, the roof of cement and the floor of concrete. It does have electricity and running water. The house condition is good. During the pandemic, my mom lost her job in a beauty salon, and this caused delays in the payment commitments we had. Food supplies, study expenses and the payment of the rent of the house are great needs at home. For that reason, I thank the feeding program for the grocery bags we received. It was all a great help for all of us. Thank you very much. God bless you! For now, we are all doing well, thank God. To finish, I want you to know my mom gave this information to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I hope to hear from you soon. I say goodbye to you for now.
Lots of love,
Nailyn Dulce Alexandra Hernandez Piedramartel
