My Story

My name is Rayner Osmany Camilo. I am 13 years old and I live along with my parents and siblings. I attend 7th grade and I am receiving virtual classes. I send my homework to my teacher online every week. I do not like this homeschooling method because the learning is lower than face-to-face classes. My mother is a housewife and is sewing clothes for other people to contribute to the income. For now, my father is making typical blouses to sell and supply our family needs.

I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother, Emilia Gomez by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I want to tell you that the covid-19 pandemic affected my parent´s jobs because they did not have costumers and it affected us economically. So, my parents started to make masks for selling and with that we could move forward. We trust in our Lord who has never left us alone and has been giving us our daily provision. We want to give thanks to Living Water / Adopt A Child who has been giving us grocery bags during the pandemic situation. The help has been really useful for my whole family, and we pray to our Lord to bless you greatly. Fortunately, we are in good health, and none of us have been infected with covid-19 so far. We attend Catholic Church on Thursday and Sunday. I say good bye to you for now and I hope you keep safe. Every blessing for you!

Hugs and much love,

Rayner Osmany Camilo Alvarez Gomez
