My Story

It is a beautiful day to say hello to you, and I trust in God you are doing well! Praise the Lord, my family and I attend Prince of Peace Church; we go on Thursdays and Saturdays. We appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us because it is important for our spiritual life. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God and trust our salvation in Him. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My mother is Josefina Vicente Chan, and she is 36 years old. She usually does the housework. My father is Gerardo Musia de la Cruz, and he is 38 years old. He works as a day laborer and bricklayer to sustain the family. We do not raise animals or grow anything because there is no space to do it.

I am Wendy Esperanza Musia Vicente, and I am 12 years old. I was in 5th grade; my classes were at school, and my learning improved a lot. My parents were struggling to support me at school, and this year was hard for them because the school supplies are so expensive now, and sometimes, they did not have money to buy what I needed. For now, I want to finish my primary school. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. What I like at Christmas is to receive a gift in the feeding program, it makes me so happy. On my birthday, I spend my day with my family, and if possible, my parents buy a cake. My favorite drink is oatmeal prepared with milk; it is delicious. I enjoy playing football which is the sport I like the most. I am so grateful to Living Water for all the support I receive; the meals and medical care for free are so useful for my family and me. For now, we are in need of groceries, and clothes. Well, this is all for now. May God bless you wherever you go!

Lots of hugs,

Wendy Esperanza Musia Vicente
