My Story

It is my pleasure to greet you through this and I hope our Lord is blessing you! This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and invited us to find a church and seek God; we appreciate the advice. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My father abandoned us and did not want to legally recognize me, so I just have my mother’s last name. My mother is Juana Lopez Ajqui, and she is 36 years old. She still lives and works in the United States. She looks after domestic animals, and fortunately, she sends us economic support. My maternal grandmother is Isabel Ajqui Cux, and she is 53 years old; she takes care of me. She weaves typical blankets to sell, and she also raises hens, turkeys, cows, and pigs to sell. We do not harvest anything.

This is Julia Isabel Lopez Ajqui, and my current age is 14 years old. I am a seventh-grade student; I receive classes at school, and my learning has improved a lot. I am currently in middle school and this year has been difficult in terms of purchasing school supplies, as this level requires more materials. The English language catches my attention, and I would like to learn how to speak it. The date I like is New Year’s because it means a new beginning and new opportunities. The sport I like the most is football. I want to tell you that my favorite juice is the peach-flavored one. To celebrate my birthday, I like to share with my family, and we usually have a lunch at home. Being part of Living Water program has blessed my life with the support I receive through the meals and medical care. At home, the primary needs for us are groceries and corn. I send much love. May God bless you greatly!

Lots of love,

Julia Isabel Lopez Ajqui
