My Story

I greet you in this beautiful day hoping our Lord is blessing you! My name is Vilma Maritza Ruiz Gomez. I am 12 years old. I am in 6^th grade at school and I receive classes on the morning shift. I usually help my mother with the housework in my free time and weekends. My father makes a living by working as a farmer and is supplying the family´s needs. On the other hand, my mother weaves typical skirts to sell and help to cover the expenses. In addition, she raises hens, goats and pigs to sell. We cultivate corn for our livelihood.

My family and I are thankful for all the support that Living Water is giving me through the feeding program; I am so blessed with the meals. The food I love the most is hamburger patties. Moreover, I receive a Christmas gift after the Christmas activity. My family and I attend the Prince of Peace Church; my mother accepted Jesus into her heart some time ago. We appreciate the encouraging words that evangelism teacher gave us this time. We all are fine, but I want you to keep my family in your prayers so we stay healthy. Finally, let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW team to update you about me. With much love. May our Lord continue blessing you wherever you go!
