My Story

Good morning! This is Israel Santiago Gonzalez Chingo and thank you for the opportunity to belong to the Feeding Program. My parents also were affiliated children in this Project and they remember with much joy the delicious meals they ate. I also have the benefits for free because my parents enrolled me two years ago due to their personal experience. I like to pray before lunch time and I also attend the Bible classes.

The LW teacher prayed for my parents during the visit and also shared the gospel to my older sister Sonia because we are not attending any church yet. I am nine years old. I am in third grade and my favorite weather is cold. I love to be fresh and I do not wear sweaters or warm clothing. I help my grandmother to sweep the floors.

My grandparents continue taking care of me because my parents are living and working in San Marcos department. They tend their own fruits business and they come to visit the family every 4 months. They send money to cover our needs monthly, and my grandparents covers some of our needs when the money they send is not enough. We get in communication with my parents every three or four days. My grandparents earn a living as weavers, and their names are Santiago and Petrona. My cousins also live in the house, but they share the expenses with my grandparents.  I am thankful because my parents, grandparents and whole family are in good health.
