My Story

Hello! my name is Selena Maricela Jimon Calachij and I feel so blessed to belong to the Feeding Program for 1 year. My mother enrolled me because of the meals and medicines for free. She is thankful for the blessings and I love to attend the Bible classes and pray.

As a family, we belong to the Assembly of God Christian Church, and we like to listen and practice the word of God. Jesus died for us on that cross and he forgave our sins, so we are secure in our salvation and that we will be in heaven someday.

The LW teacher prayed for health and work for my family, and my mother gave this information during the visit. I like to help my mother to wash dishes at home and I love hot weather because I like to drink sodas. I am six years old and I am in kindergarten this year. I am in good health, and by the grace of God, my parents and whole family are too. We travel to the coast from November to February to pick coffee beans during the harvest. My father is a day laborer and my mother takes care of the family and does the chores. Thank you for taking the time to read my news. I send you every kind of blessing!
