My Story

Hello and greetings. My name is Frenkli. I am thankful to you for reading my story. I am diagnosed with arthritis and from time to time, I go to see the doctor. I am not taking any medicine yet. My favorite colors are yellow and green, the color of the sun and the color of the nature that surrounds us. My future dream is to study Math and become a Math teacher. I frequent school and enjoy learning. My favorite subject is Math. I do my best to study and do well in all the rest of the subjects we take from our teachers. While I am in the house, I like to help my mother while she is laying our dinning table. After meals I collect and wash the dishes for her. I like to spend the rest of my free time playing outside with my friends, but not for too long. I don’t have a lot of friends who live near my house, so I sometimes feel quite lonely while I stay inside the house. I sit to watch cartoons for children on television or do some reading. Since we live in the town, from time to time, my family and I like to go out for walks. I enjoy sitting in the park for a while to get fresh air and why not, consume a chip, a drink and other desserts. My family of four persons live in the town. I have my father, mother as well as an older sister. We go to the same school together and I care. During the lesson breaks, she cars for me. My father is working in construction, but he is not working as a hired person full time. He goes here and there, as required to join friends who ask him to work together with them. Working in construction he will normally get a good income, but he works too less and from time to time not at all. This puts us to be financially challenged. My mother is a housewife. She is not working but on the other side, doing the housework is tiring for her. She does all cleaning, cooking, washing and goes shopping. My mother is also carrying very much for my brother. I help her too a bit, but she is way too busy around the house. I am very happy that I could get registered in the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child. I have frequented the church together with my mother and sister and we are very happy to have this opportunity. We will soon start to benefit same as the other children help in food and we are excited that this way, we can have more food for our family. My sister and I go to the Bible classes of the church and we enjoy learning about the Lord Jesus and how we can trust in him to be the Lord of our lives.
