My Story

Hello, good morning! It is such a blessing to greet you through this letter. My full name is Andrea Estefania Mejia Reyes and I am so happy to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about two years. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is understanding what Jesus wants to teach us through the scriptures. I am 13 years old and I am a healthy teenager. I am in seventh grade and I like the cold weather because it is more pleasant than hot. The main supporter of my family is my father. He is in good health and makes a living as a taxi driver. My mother is also doing well and works hard by doing the cleaning for others in order to contribute to the expenses.  I know she comes back home tired, so I dedicate myself to cleaning our house so that she can rest.

My parents are deeply grateful for all the benefits that I have received by means of LW-Adopt A Child. They pray that God blesses and prospers each person who makes the social work of this organization possible. Some of my neighbors gave my parents good references about the feeding program, so they felt motivated to send me. We do not attend any church at the moment, but I hope we can do it someday like we used to do in the past. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother and me as an encouragement to look for God, which I appreciate a lot. This is all for now, but I kindly ask you to pray for my family and the work of my parents. In advance, thank you so much!
