My Story

Hello! My name is Alicia Manuela, and this is my update information. I would like to start my letter asking for your prayers for my father because he is not passing through a good time. He is not working because he still has problems with his foot due to the motorcycle accident. He has pain in it and it has been difficult for him to recover from it because he has not visited a doctor due to our low resources. In addition, he is having alcoholic problems. My mother has to work hard to cover our needs, and she raises hens for selling; thankfully, she is in good health. We are a very needy family, and our frequent needs are groceries. We are sharing our house with my paternal grandmother.

My mom helped me with this letter for you, and I tell you that she was part of the feeding program when she was a child. It was a great blessing for her because she could eat something different from home. Her experience was what motivated her to register my siblings and me at the program. I have been part of the program for 4 years, and I like the Bible classes because I learn about God. Thankfully, I am in good health, and I continue studying. I am in 3rd grade this year, and after classes, I help to sweep at home. I like summer time because I can drink cold beverages.

My family and I attend Christian Life Church, and we are grateful because our brethren frequently pray for our lives. LW Evangelism team took advantage of their visit to encourage us to continue seeking God and put our faith in Him. Please keep us in your prayers, especially my mom because she is the only one who is supporting the family financially. I wish you the best.

Sincerely yours

Alicia Manuela Pacheco Torquiz
