My Story

It’s a pleasure to greet you again. My name is Florinda Gomez Toj. I am 11 years old and I am in second grade this year. I love going to the feeding program each week. I cannot tell you my favorite meal because I love every meal they give us. We have been very blessed by the food Living Water serves us each week. I also enjoy the Christmas celebrations at the end of the year because we do fun games. My mother’s name is Marta Toj Benito. She is a stay-at-home mom. She does the housework, but she also grows corn for us to eat and raises chickens to sell at the market. On the weekends, I like to help her feed the chickens. My dad is Francisco Gomez Benito. He is a day laborer and farmer and the money he earns is what sustains my family economically. Unfortunately, we do not attend any church. I want to tell you that my father shared this information with the LW evangelism teacher, and he also received the message of the gospel. He was grateful for this but was not ready to make any decisions. I hope you will pray for the health and wellbeing of my family. I also hope you and your loved ones are well.
