My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you today. I am Dylan Adrian Ruiz Ventura. I am 6 years old now and I have just completed kindergarten. In my free time, I do my homework from school. On the weekends, I love to visit my grandparents. I am so grateful for the blessing that Living Water has been to me and my family through the meals they serve us each week. My favorite thing to eat at the program is the fried chicken. I also love when we do our Christmas celebration, and we receive a wonderful gift. It is so special. Thank God, my family and I are doing well and are in good health. My mother’s name is Bufina Ventura Canil. She is a housewife, but she also sews beautiful designs on the typical women’s blouses to sell them. She also sells food with my grandmother on Thursdays and Sundays. My father’s name is Edras Otoniel Ruiz De La Cruz. He has a store where he sells clothes and magazines for children. He sells on Thursdays and Sundays. We also grow corn and raise chickens at home for our own use. For us, the disciple classes at the program have been a huge blessing because me and my siblings are able to go and learn about Jesus. My parents are very grateful for this. As a family, we attend a National Methodist Church. My father serves as a musician and deacon in the church, and my mother is a secretary who also leads the hymns. They are both strong in their faith and have accepted Christ as their salvation. My father shared this information with the LW evangelism teacher and asked that they would pray for us, his children, that we would grow up in a community of people who would lead us to Christ and encourage us. I hope you will keep us in your prayers as well. I hope you have enjoyed reading about me. It makes to so happy to know you are thinking of me. I send you many hugs and kisses.
