Hello, my name is Erick Otoniel Ruiz Ventura. I am 8 years old now and I have completed 1st grade. I go to school in the mornings and after that, I go home to do my homework so I can play soccer. On the weekends, I love to visit my grandparents. I also love going to the feeding program each week. My favorite food to eat there is the fried chicken. The meals have been a huge blessing for me and my family, as well as the Christmas gift we receive at the end of the year Christmas celebration. My father’s name is Edras Otoniel Ruiz De La Cruz. He is a day laborer. He also has a small store where he sells clothes and magazines for children on Thursdays and Sundays. My mother’s name is Bufina Ventura Canil. She takes care of the housework and chores, but she also sews typical designs on women’s typical blouses to sell them. On Thursdays and Sundays, she joins my grandmother in selling food and snacks. At home we grow corn and raise chickens, but we do not sell them. We do this for our own use. As a family, we go to National Methodist Church. My parents are very faithful and strong believers. They have accepted Christ for their salvation. My mom serves at church as a hymnal leader and a secretary. My father serves as a deacon and a musician for the church. My father mentioned to the LW teacher that the disciple classes at the program have been a huge blessing, because we are able to go and learn about Jesus. His prayer for us, his children, is that we would be surrounded by a good community so we can grow and develop into healthy faithful men and women. I hope you will keep us in your prayers as well. I thank you for reading about me today. It was a pleasure to tell you a little bit about me. I send you many blessings and pray for your good health in Jesus’ name.
Many blessings,
Erick Otoniel Ruiz Ventura
