It is great joy to write this letter to someone special like you. My full name is Roberth Nehemias Rodriguez de la Cruz and I want to share a little about my life with you. I just turned 9 years old in October, and fortunately, I am in good health. I was in second grade this 2024 year. I am already out of school for vacation, so I have a lot of time to play with my siblings. I am so happy to be part of LW-Adopt A Child because of food. Besides that, I can receive medicine at the clinics and that is a great blessing for my family too. I feel a lot of excitement when the LW staff serves fried chicken for lunch at the feeding program. I like celebrating Christmas at the feeding program because the staff organizes nice activities and choreographies.
Now, let me tell you about my family. Thankfully, they are all in good health. My mom is a great housewife who does her best to help my father with the household expenses. She is doing well and weaves typical clothes to sell. We grow corn for our consumption. My father still works in a grocery store in Jalapa town to support our family. That town is far away from our village, so he comes to visit us every three months. He also tries to phone us every day. I beg you to pray for my whole family, especially for my father so the Lord keeps him healthy and safe. I also ask you to pray for my youngest sister Adriana. She is not able to see well because she was born with a spot in her left eye. My family and I have attended the Methodist Church for many years. I am glad my parents accepted Jesus. So, I can tell you that my parents are sure about their salvation. It is time to say goodbye, but I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,
Roberth Nehemias Rodriguez de la Cruz
