Blessings and many greetings to you and your family. My name is Tomasa Grave Mejia. I would like to tell you a little bit about my family. My father’s name is Jose Efrain Grave Cruz. He went to the United States a few years ago to go work. He does not have a stable job right now. He is also struggling with some aftereffects of Covid-19, which he contracted a couple years ago. My mother’s name is Lucia Meja Ramos. She is a housewife, and she works hard taking care of the chores at home. She also raises and sells chickens in the market so she can make a little extra money. We grow corn at home for us to eat. We go to the Catholic Church, as we have for many, many years. My mother is a strong believer, and she knows the gospel well. We are grateful for every meal we receive from Living Water every week. This has been a huge blessing to us, as well as the Christmas celebration where we receive a beautiful gift.
Now I will tell you a little bit about myself. I am 9 years old now, and I am in 2nd grade this year. Unfortunately, I had to repeat this grade this year. I go to school in the mornings and after school, I help my mother with the housework. My favorite meal at the feeding program is the fried chicken and the sausages. I am praying for the continued health and wellbeing of my family. Thank you so much for reading about me. I pray that the presence of God will go with you today and every day. I send you all my love from Guatemala!
Warm hugs,
Tomasa Grave Mejia
