My Story

Good morning, this is Darleen Sofia Chic Chingo and I feel blessed for the privilege to belong to this Project since I was four years old. My mother also was registered in the Feeding Center when she was a child and she remembers the special activities with youth groups and the support for many children. It was the reason to register me and she is thankful for every benefit for my brother and me. I like to sing and play in the Bible classes. She gave all this information during the visit and the LW teacher prayed for protection and help from God for my whole family. By the grace of God, we are believers and we attend Sovereign King Christian Church and my father encourages us to attend because of the miracles God has done in our family. If Jesus asks us someday: why should I allow you to enter heaven, we will answer: because we have accepted you in our hearts and you are our savior.

My parents and I are doing well and they are doing their best for us. My mother does the household duties, but she also continues weaving typical napkins to sell and my father is a farmer. They live with us and try to cover all of our needs. Sometimes, I help to wash the dishes at home. I am in 2^nd grade and I am eight years old. I prefer cold weather.
