My Story

Hello, I am so grateful to write this short update for you. I pray you are doing well and enjoying many blessings from God. Thank you for taking the time to read my information. I know God led you to my profile for a purpose. My name is Camilo Hernandez Simaj. I am ten years old now. I am in the first grade again this year. I have had to repeat third grade twice now, because I get in trouble at school sometimes. I hope I will be able to move on to fourth grade soon. I love playing with my brother, Alejandra. He is so special to me. He is like my best friend, and we have always been very close.

I have to tell you some very sad news. My father passed away six months ago from health complications. His name was Camilo Hernandez de la Cruz. This was so sad for us. I miss him so much. Now, my older sister works to make money for our family. My mom’s name is Olga Simaj Riz. She stays at home and takes care of the house and our family. That’s why my sister has to make money. She works as an in-home assistant. As a family, we do not go to church. We stopped going a while ago, but I remember that they taught us that Jesus is the Lord. The Living Water evangelism teachers also encourage us to continue to seek the Lord and find a good church to go to because it is good to go to church. I say goodbye for now.
