My Story

Hello, my name is Catarina Lorenza Garcia Ruiz. I am an 11-year-old girl, and I no longer attend school. During the day and on the weekends, I help my mother at home with the housework and chores. I go to the feeding program each week and enjoy a delicious lunch. My favorite meal to eat there is the fried chicken. We have been blessed through the lunches and medicines that Living Water provides for free. My favorite part about the Christmas celebration is the beautiful gift we receive and all the candy we get. As for my family, we are all doing well, thank God. My father is Pedro Garcia Simaj. He works as a construction helper. He struggles with back pain, but he is taking medicines and massages for the pain.

My mother’s name is Juana Riz Morente. She sews typical belts for women’s typical clothing. She also takes care of the chickens and goats so we can sell them. At home we grow corn that is for our own use. My family and I go to a Catholic church. We have gone there for many years. I want to let you know that my mother shared this information with the LW evangelism teacher who visited us.
