My name is Cristian Camilo Mancera Gonzalez and it is a great blessing to say hello to you through this letter. I want to share that I am in sixth grade this year. I turned 12 years old in April and fortunately, I am healthy. My best friends’ names are Pedro and Santiago. I met them at school about two years ago. We enjoy spending time together and eating snacks during recess. As you know, my father abandoned my family and me many years ago. This was the saddest experience I have had because this hurt my heart so much. However, my wounds have been healing little by little because I know Jesus is my Father. I have felt His loving presence in my life. I am sure He will not leave me alone and will be with me forever.
I identify with my mom because she is always looking out for us. She makes a living as a domestic employee, doing massages and other odd jobs to support our family. I beg you to pray for her because she has arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lupus. She is under observation at the health center in Duenas. She must take aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, lansoprazole, and vitamins because she is weak and losing her hair. My family and I still do not attend church. Therefore, a member of the LW-evangelism team shared the gospel and encouraged my mom and me to seek the Lord. We are grateful for the time he dedicated to us. We took advantage of the opportunity to provide all this information just for you. I say goodbye for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely yours,
Cristian Camilo Mancera Gonzalez
