My Story

Hello, my name is Wendy Floridalma Luis Benito. I am 11 years old. I am in 2^nd grade at school. I go to school in the mornings and in the afternoon, I help out at home and go out to look for firewood and food for the pigs. My father’s name is Juan Luis De La Cruz. He is a farmer and laborer for 3 to 4 days a week, and he works very hard to support my family. My mother’s name is Hermelinda Benito Portuguez. She takes care of the house and chores. She also raises some animals to sell, such as chickens and pigs. When she sells them, she makes a little extra money that helps us out. We also grow corn and for our own consumption. My favorite part of the Christmas celebration at the end of the year is when we receive our gifts. My favorite food to eat at the feeding program is the beef and rice. These meals have been a huge blessing to us from Living Water. As a family, we attend Prince of Peace Church.

My parents are both saved and very strong believers. My father shared this information with the Living Water teacher, and he was encouraged to continue growing in his faith and seeking the Lord. Please pray for my father to have a stable job and for God’s provision to be over us. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today. I send you much love and big hugs.
