My Story

This is Jefry Eleazar Gonzalez Garcia and I fondly greet you. I hope this letter finds you keeping well in the name of Jesus. I tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about six years. Besides having delicious food, I can participate in the bible classes, which I like so much because I can learn more about God. My mother enrolled my sister and me there because she wanted us to receive medical attention as she did when she was a child. She remembers with so much joy that a group of American people came to visit her; they gave her necklaces and candies. Today, she is a healthy housewife and dedicates herself to embroidering typical napkins. Besides that, she raises and sells chickens to help my father with the expenses. My father is also healthy and makes a living as a truck driver.

About me, I tell you that I am a healthy 12-year-old boy. I am in sixth grade at school and help my mother with the chores. I like the hot weather because that is perfect to go to the pool. At church, I like to worship God with gospel songs. I would like to serve there by playing the drums. My family and I are members of Restauration-Ebenezer Church. We enjoy listening to the gospel there because we know that helps us to strengthen our faith in God. I tell you that sister Lizeth (a member of the LW evangelism team) encouraged us to keep going. We are sure about our salvation because we accepted Jesus in our hearts a while ago. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray so that God keeps my father safe since he must travel a lot by driving trucks or assisting the drivers. I cannot pay you back for your prayers, but the Lord will reward you richly!
