My Story

Hello! My name is Melany Celeste Gomez Santos. Thankfully I am in good health, and I am so glad to share with you something about my family and me. I am 14 years old; I was in 8^th grade this year. Fortunately, I was attending face-to-face classes, and I could be with my friends. I am so grateful to God and to my parents for supporting me with my studies and giving me the necessities to study. In the future, I would like to become a teacher and learn English. My favorite sport is soccer, and I like dinking sodas. I want you to know that I like to eat cake and spend time with my family for my birthday, but we do it only if my parents are able to buy me a cake. I love Christmas because of the environment there is during these dates.

Praise God, my parents are in good health; my father earns a living by working as a security guard in different places. My mother is a housewife, and she is always attentive to us and keeps busy doing the cleaning. Thankfully, God has helped us to have the necessities every day. My parents and I are so grateful to God and to Living Water for all the love and support I have been receiving at the feeding program during all this time.  At home we have pets, two dogs and one cat. We do not cultivate any product because we do not have a place to do it. As a family, we are members of the Catholic Church, and we attend mass every Sunday.  Let me tell you that this information was provided by my mother.
