Hello! This is Angie Victoria Guadalupe Lopez Agustin, and I am so happy to say hello to you through this. I am now in second grade, and I just turned nine years old. Currently, I am taking face-to-face classes three days a week, and I hand in my schoolwork to the teacher whenever I go to school. As I am still using WhatsApp to ask for any doubts to the teacher, I must have internet service in the cellphone. Not learning the lessons in a good way affected my school performance. I want you to know that during the time the feeding program was closed because of the pandemic, I missed attending it and spending time with friends I made there. Ten minutes is the time I take to get there by walking. It is open again, thankfully! Edgar, my father works as a mechanic helper, and thanks to his work, he provides economically for my family. My mother is a housewife, so she does the chores at home. The thing I like doing with my family is watching movies on the TV. I want you to know on Christmastime my family and I made tamales and fruit punch. We burned firecrackers, and we have the tradition to set a bonfire. We are now attending Iglesia Remanente Escogido (Chosen Remnant Church) which is located five minutes from home by walking. We are not members yet; we have only been attending it for now.
My family rents a house which has three rooms and a separate kitchen. The rooms are made of cement block, ceramic floor and tin sheet roof. We do have running water and electricity services. The house is in good condition. During the time of the pandemic, which was a difficult time, the LW team provided us with grocery bags. Meeting all of our family expenses was difficult for my father, so food supplies, which are a basic need for us, were a blessing and help. Thank you very much. God bless you! Thanks to God, I am doing well, and so is my family. To finish, I want you to know that one member from the Evangelism team called up to ask for updated information about me, so my mother was the one who gave it to her by phone. They did it this way to protect us from the virus. I am sending you a lot of kisses and hugs.
With so much love,
Angie Victoria Guadalupe Lopez Agustin
