Hello! My name is Stivi Karaj. I am 9 years old and my birthday is on July. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is red and my future dream is to become engineer I go to primary school where I spend the first part of my day. I enjoy learning and gaining knowledge and education. My favorite subject I like to study the best at school is Mathematics. I return in the house at midday. I meet to play with my friends who live near my house for a while and spend the rest of the day inside. I like to play games online and borrow the mobile phone of my parents, using it to play those games. I like to help in my family with what I can offer to do. I help my mother when she cleans or when she goes to work in the garden. I also help my grandmother when she asks me to do something for her. My family lives in a village that is near the town of Prrenjas. Our house is contained from five members. They are my father, mother, my older brother as well as my grandmother. My house offers good conditions to us. My father and mother deal with agriculture and they both work in our land we own as family. They plant vegetables in our land as well as what is used as food to feed the cow. We keep a cow and benefit from keeping it milk, butter cheese for consumption. Every year my father can sell a calf. My grandmother is usually taking the cow to be grassed in the fields for a few hours. She is now retired and she benefits a small pension from her previous job in the village. My father usually goes to work in Greece for a season so he can provide better income for us, but during this year, he has not yet been asked to go. My father has his own car that he uses to go to Greece when he is asked to work. His car is used as well in our family whenever we need to travel to the town to do shopping or just to get away from the village for a few hours. My older brother is still frequenting school and studying. He is also helping in our family where he can. My family has been challenged financially during this year because my father has not gone to emigration for a long period of time and whatever is gained through agriculture is less. I frequent the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child together with my older brother. We receive food packages constantly from the program and follow all the activities that we have during the week, organized by the church. I am thankful to the program for the physical and spiritual care that is offered. We are also benefiting dental care and I will go to see the dentist soon, according to the appointment. Thank you very much for your care to me and God bless you!
