My Story

My full name is Selvin Eliseo Morente Ruiz, and it is a great pleasure to write this letter to let you know a little about my life. I am 12 years old, and I am grateful to God for helping me to have success at school last year. I am in sixth grade now, and I trust the Lord continues to be with me through my educational process. I love getting together with my friends to play soccer. My best friend’s name is Elias. We have been friends since we were young. Jesus is also a good friend. My mother told me that He will never fail me.

We attend the Catholic Church and enjoy taking part in Mass and the anniversary of our church. I want you to know that I love and admire my mother so much. She is a single parent and does her best to support our family. Fortunately, we are all healthy. My mother makes a living by weaving and selling typical designs on fabrics. She also raises and sells chickens to earn extra money. This is all for now, but I hope you found my information engaging. Until next time!
