My Story

Hello! My full name is Sander Osmar Rojas Arias and I am grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for giving me the opportunity to share a little bit of my life with you. I am 14 years old and I am in good health, which is a blessing nowadays. I am in seventh grade and I usually sweep and run errands to contribute to the chores. I have a lot of fun by playing with water, so I prefer hot weather rather than cold. I have attended the feeding program for about eight years. I like listening to the Bible message that the LW staff prepared for many children and teenagers like me before having lunch. I want you to know that my mother appreciates all the love and support that LW-Adopt A Child provides to many families. May God continue blessing this organization richly! She knew all the benefits this project because she used to serve together with the staff by doing different tasks, which she enjoyed a lot.

Today, she works hard as a waitress to support our family. I want to open my heart and tell you that my father is in jail. He was arrested while he was working as a moto-taxi driver. This situation has been difficult for my family and me, but we believe that God will help us. Could you please pray for us? While my mother goes to work, my aunt takes care of my siblings and me. We do not attend any church at the moment, but I hope we can do it soon. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my aunt and me as an encouragement to look for God, which we appreciated a lot.
