Hello, my name is Dominga Elisa Benito Mendoza. I send you and your loved ones my warm greetings. I am 14 years old, and I am not currently studying. During the week, I help my grandparents take care of the cows and the goats. My father, Victor Benito, abandoned our family ten years ago. My mother, Juana Isabel Mendoza Riz, does not live with the family. She works in the capital making tortillas. I live with my grandparents, and my mother send money to help support us. I enjoy going to the feeding program each week and eating a delicious meal. My favorite meal that they serve at the feeding program is the fried chicken. I also get very excited to receive a gift at the end of year Christmas celebration at the feeding program. I tell you that Living Water has greatly blessed my family by the food and medicines they provide to me for free.
At home, we raise and sell goats, chickens, and cows. We also grow corn for our own needs. As a family, we attend a Catholic church. My grandparent’s faith is strong. I pray that you are doing well, and I hope that you will pray for the health of my grandparents and for my mother’s job. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today. I send you many hugs and blessings.
With much love,
Dominga Elisa Benito Mendoza
