My Story

Hello Sponsor! How are you? It is a pleasure to greet you cordially and I hope you are doing fine alongside your loved ones.  I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. My mother`s name is Maria Gregoria Apen Canas. She lives with us. She is in good health. She has not accepted Jesus in her heart.  Nowadays, she continues working as a maid because she is the one who supports us financially. Currently we are not attending any church and I have not accepted Jesus in my heart. The LW team encouraged us to seek a church. We are grateful to them for the advice and my mother is grateful with the Youth Group from LW`s Liberty Church for the spiritual support they gave me during the separation process of my parents. They guided me with advice and the God`s word.

I am Erick Javier Zelada Apen and I am 13 years old. I am a healthy boy. I am in 7^th grade at school and I go to study from Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On weekends I like to play soccer. I have been blessed by the Feeding Program with medicines, spiritual support and delicious meals, but I prefer to eat the spaghetti that they serve. Sometimes, I like to help as a volunteer there. I want to let you know that I enjoyed the special activities, during the “Dia del niño” (Child`s Day in Guatemala) and Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. I ask for your prayers for my grandparent´s health. My family is grateful for every benefit that I have received from the Ministry. I pray God reward to you in every area of your life!
