My Story

My dearest Madrina, all the best for you in this wonderful day. I would like first of all to thank you for taking the time to read this. This is Maximiliano Anibal De la Cruz Ajqui and I am telling you a little about my family and me in this opportunity. I am 13 years old and thankfully I am in good health condition.  I stay at home, and I help my mother with some chores. The most important thing in my life is to have good health and I feel the presence of God and his protection through this. Jesus is my savior. I have a good relationship with my mother because she spends her time with me. I am so happy because I have some friends in the Feeding Center, and we play football when we are together.

My mother`s name is Hilda Ajqui Garcia.  She lives with us and contributes to home income by raising and selling her hens, turkeys and cows. She is in good health condition.  My father is in good health condition and he sustains our family financially by working in a restaurant washing dishes. As you know, he lives in the United States and his name is Carlos de la Cruz Riz. Nowadays, we are members of the Catholic Church and in December we celebrate the “Posadas” (it is a small procession which represents when Joseph and Mary were looking for a place where Jesus could be born). The LW teacher shared the gospel with my mother who is insecure about her salvation even though she attends the church. This is all for now and I send you many greetings with much affection! (My mother helped to collect this information for the LW evangelism teacher)
