My Story

Hello! My full name is Ashly Nicol Hernandez Morales and I am pleased to shared my information with you. I am 17 years old and I am in good health, which is a blessing. I am in tenth grade and this is my first year of two years of a training in Science and Arts. I like the summer season because I have a lot of fun playing with my cousins. To contribute to the chores, I usually cook and run errands. I have attended the feeding program for about ten years. The evangelism team teaches God’s word with love which I appreciate so much. My parents felt motivated to send my sister and me there because they provide many children with spiritual guidance and medicine for free. They pray that God blesses all the staff members of LW-Adopt A Child in order that nobody lacks food and stays healthy.

About my family, I kindly ask you to pray for my mother. She was at the hospital about one year ago because she was diagnosed with thrombosis in her legs and right arm. She also suffers from hypertension and usually goes for her checkups and treatment at the public health center every two months. Despite her condition, she works hard by cleaning houses in order to contribute to the household expenses. My father is a mason, and due to his work, he had to travel to a place called Tecpan, which is located in a department called Chimaltenango. He could not find a job here in the city, but we are glad because he is doing well and visits us every fifteen days. My family and I do not attend church at the moment, but I appreciate that brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with us as an encouragement to look for God.
