My Story

Special regards from Chixocol village! I am Vernaldina Mendez Garcia and I hope you enjoy reading my updated information. I am 15 years old and I have had the opportunity to attend the feeding program for many years. Before having my meals, I receive Bible classes and I like them so much because they help me to learn more about God. About my occupations, I tell you that I wash the clothes and clean the house, while my mother keeps busy raising and selling our domestic animals. We have chickens and pigs at home. My father continues working as a day laborer and farmer to support our family. Thanks to the loving care of our Lord, we are all doing well.

I tell you that my family and I are members of a Christian Church called Jesus the Good Way. The encouragement we provide each other and the knowledge we gain there are what motivate us to keep going. I am pleased to tell you that my mother is assured about her salvation because she is God’s daughter and recognizes Jesus as her savior and Heavenly father. I want to take advantage of this opportunity to thank LW-Adopt A Child for all the support I have received. The medicine and food that I can receive are a great blessing for me. I tell you that my mother had the opportunity to attend the feeding program when she was a child and what she remembers is that she liked to receive Bible lessons. Because of her nice experience, she decided to enroll my siblings and me there. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family so that God helps us in each situation we have to pass through. Until next time!
