Hello! This is Maria Elena De La Cruz Gutierrez, and before telling you about my life, I thank you so much for taking the time to read my information. Thankfully, I am a healthy 13-year-old girl. I attend school as a sixth grader on the morning shift. I usually help my mom with the housework on weekends. We also take time to attend our church. We have been members of a Christian Church for many years. My mom is sure about her salvation, so a teacher of the LW evangelism team congratulated her and encouraged us to continue persevering at church. I welcomed Jesus as my savior about two years ago. Now, let me tell you about my family. Fortunately, everybody is in good health.  

My father is a diabetic man, but he is stable thanks to the treatment. He and my mom make a living as day laborers to support our family economically. To generate extra money, my parents raise and sell hens and pigs at home. Luckily, we have enough space at home to grow corn for our consumption. I want to use this opportunity to tell you that LW-Adopt A Child has blessed my family and me greatly. The staff prepares delicious food, but my favorite one is fried chicken. I like celebrating Christmas there because the LW staff and collaborators perform nice choreographies which I enjoy so much. To end this letter, I ask you to pray for health and provision for my family and me. I will leave you now, but I want you to know that I look forward to hearing from you soon.
