I am so happy to greet through this letter. This is Belsy Morente Gomez and I want to share with you a little about my life. Fortunately, I am a healthy 15-year-old girl. I am in seventh grade and attend school on the morning shift. I do my best at school, so I take advantage of weekends to study and do homework. I like spending time with my family. I have two sisters and one of them is a girl with special needs. Fortunately, my sisters are doing well. As for my parents, let me tell you they have not been doing well. My father has pain in his right arm and my mom has pain in her left knee. They have been going to the health center, but doctors have not found out the reason for their health issues. To mitigate the pain, they get shots at the pharmacy. I trust God will put his healing hand upon them. So please pray for them. Despite the issues, my father goes out to work as a farmer. He also grows corn for our consumption. My mom does the household chores and raises our domestic animals. We have hens, turkeys, and pigs at home to earn a little income from the occasional sales.
We have faithfully attended the Prince of Peace Church for many years. My mother serves as a deaconess and my father as a preacher at church. A teacher of the LW evangelism team encouraged them to continue seeking God. My parents also were congratulated for being sure about their salvation. LW-Adopt A Child has not only provided us with spiritual support, but also with delicious meals and medicine. At the feeding program, my favorite dishes are fried chicken and hilachas (shredded meat in red tomato and spice sauce). My sisters and I had a lot of fun during the Christmas celebration at the feeding program last year. What I enjoyed the most were the activities and gifts. It is time to say goodbye, but I thank you so much for reading my information. Have a fantastic day!
Kind regards,
Belsy Morente Gomez
